My suggestion worked for me, it may not have worked for YOU, but it's a lot shorter solution than going through the trouble of re-installing the graphics card.
Suggesting off the bat re-installing the graphics card, when a solution may be easier may not be such a good idea . . . . would you want to go through all the trouble of re-installing a graphics card if there was a possiblility it could be fixed by double-clicking an icon? :headbang:
