This course will look at the fundamentals of rendering in Arnold. We'll go through the different light types available, cameras, shaders, Arnold's render settings and finally how to split an image into render passes (AOV's), before we then reassemble it i

i had to put my outside project on hold due to problems :headbang:

so i started this gun platform type thing if anyone has seen forge world models they will understand where i got the idea from.

At the moment this is only the base on which the platform will actually sit.

looks cool but I think that you are using a bit too many booleans now...

Looks cool mate, I'm currently modelling a whirlwind tank from Warhammer, I love the detail of those models, they are awesome. My boyfriend loves to paint them (he's really good at doing all the detail), so there are a few models always lying around my flat. The forge world giants are good :p

When in doubt......smile!

those wires are deffinatily cool. Think of it like this- the more wires the more realistic it will be. And detail detail detail. It is on the verge of a very detailed model and if you leave it at that, I will be mad at you! :angery: lol!

So yeah, detail it some more then texture it, cuz its gonna look way cool.

i have done a lil more.

i decided to give the poor person a lil seat with some seatbelts cuz it may be abit rough firing all those guns lol

i also added a lil keypad maybe to access the platform to make it work.wouldnt want the wrong person firing this beast.lol

i am also working on a gun sight that extends out but im not happy with it.

please crits and comments

well here rises the need for more detail:

he is completly stationary. There is nothing to protect him. So either you make him a sheild or you ditch the eintire person idea.

But the seat is looking good.

Also, wouldnt the dude need something to controll the turret with? a joystick type thing?

looking good user added image
