rendered it like thousands of times just to make it look even acceptable.

the shadow isn't affected by the ground, like, the shadow isn't jagged because of the rocks and stuff.

Also, the shadow isn't in the right direction its a bit off.

Also, you need to post this in the Finished Work section- for now just ask a moderator to move it.

apart from that though, good job! I would have given up trying to position the sun even close to where it was supposed to go user added image

I think the shadow is pretty much pointing in the right spot compared to the others. It only looks off because like Matt said, the shadow isn't distorted as it should be.

I think you might get better results if you used image based lighting in addition to your compositing, but I'm under the assumption that your not using it for the pic.
