simple book animation my 1st

ok before i foudn this wonderfull website and forum i stuggled alone and our 1st class project was to model and texture and animate a book or books.

here is mine, its Maya and then all the rendered image but put in to flash to kill the size
this has no sound but you get the idea(it had sound but im still new at fiel sizes etc so removed it.)

oh and its a link to deviant art, not sure if it might be jureky unless you download it to..
its about 10 seconds and allmost put me off maya for life...

I think it would have been abit nicer if it wasn't for the green square. I know it is probably supposed to represent grass plains. But for me it does not work as such without adding more detail to it.
