Beer glass scene creation
This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.

we've had discussions about the "best" compositing software, but what about editing software? which ones the "best"?

Adobeee's premiere... it is simple and powerful... now that's what i want in a software. i've got premiere 6... and for Mac's, from what i've heard, final cut pro (remember, i did not use it, and i dont know how good it is)

nem: nope, simple means simple to use user added image and talking about powerful the realtime preview feature in 6.5 just rocks user added image

Same opinion here.

Although, I've never used Avid, and I've always wanted to try it...

One often forgotten app is Sonic Foundry's Vegas Video. It's quite nice nowadays. There's a save disabled demoversion too. I didn't like the UI too much but I think that was because I'm so used to Premiere's way to do things...

Premier is very unstable, it likes to crash at random.

I've not used 6.5, but 6.0 is a shocker.
