This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with
complex objects.
I asked him if it transforms and he said his system wasn't up to the task . So I offered to take a crack at it and the wise old jedi said 'YES'!! :attn:
So I've got the model and I start playing with it today.
Wish me luck (I'll need it)

yep, i let him play with my model, as with my pc its impossible to animate him. so don't worry folks, he's aproved by the old jedi master to use it and thanks to him i'll see my creation come to life
1st animation test. This is car driving on test track. I'm trying to get the wheels and the track to work together (let's hope he stops before the track runs out - LOL)
Transformers FOREVER!!!!!! :attn: ..... ehm, no! I mean... great job on my bf's model!!!!! WOW!!! I think he'll like it! (and me too *_________* this is just become one of my favourite topics )
Ha ha - Really great work so far Tiddles - I like the head wobble in the walk cycle and the animation of the car on the test track is excellent. It's also good to see someone take another person's project and run with it. Well done!
@ arran - thanks m8, I really am enjoying workin on this.
@ 13th_resident - yeah! he really is a rude bugger, aint he?
@ Yoda - I've checked the model again & again but I still can't find that missing bolt in his neck... Tell you what; You model it and I'll install it :lmao:
So, wanna see a little transforming test? Only 1 arm at this stage as I'm still trying to work out how to fit all his bits inside that tiny Audi...
