This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

Weights

How do you paint weights on a SubD character? It either doesn't do it realtime or at all. When I convert it back to polys it works but going back to SubD it just reverts to default weights. Really need some help on this

look into wrap deformers basically u use the poly mesh to deform your subd
