I dont think theres any excuse for what he did, yeah the Italian guy shouldent have wound him up etc but he's meant to be a professional footballer, role model to kids, with plenty of experiance at playing at that level, so he should be able to control his temper a lot better than that.

In the end he just made himself look daft.

Well done Italy on the penalty taking.

Yes I felt for France, although I was initially for Brasil, France were my second faves.

Zidane was at the centre of racist abuse from the Italian guy, some slures about his mother being a whore, just sad when it comes to these sort of tactics from seasoned Pros!!

Nice headbutt if you ask me, that guy deserved it, I think with that pressure going on around you and somebody made similar comments we would all react the same.

Zidane is ze best!!
