dont understand what your problem is exactly. I assume tha your wondering why your materials are generating hot spots. This is because photons are present. I believe that photons individually sample surfaces that they bounce off of regardless of what settings you have or what you have done. Bottom line, the photon will make the hot spot you see unless you put something there to stop it.
