Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

Why is everything so difficult?

Why won't anything happend when I try to run scripts that have dialogue box popups.....like Rockgen?? I run the script, and nothing! I'm just using scirpt editor, opening the scripting, and exectuting it. There are no error messages, just nothing happens. Am I doing something wrong?

check the script requirements. You may need to have something selected when you run the scripts

Try opening up the MEL script in a text editor like notepad. A lot of times, the person who wrote the script will leave instructions on how to use it. They are usually the first few lines of the script.
