i am working on the t-rex model tutorial by kurt. i am at the tutorial where the eye is now being worked on. This is my progress so far. o yea, kurt it is great trying to follow your tutorial.
i like the way you show us how to model one body part using different modelling methods.
wow impressive, keep up the great work... :p
though about making one of these but didnt really know how to set it out at first, didnt relise kurt had a tutorial.. sweet as..
one step foward to sucess
hey man
thats looking good
i done this ages ago an from the methods used u can create almost ne creature u want keep it up
the one thing i see problem is an its only minor is where the front arm connects to the body it looks like it will be to defined an not flow smoothly however it may look right once smoothed/converted
hey
first i would to thank you guys for the feedback. Pbman, you said there might be a connection problem at the front arm. i added some more splits . i don't know if it solved the problem anyway thanks guys.
indeed, loads of teeth. I like it to. But from the angle you took the pics his legs and some of the muscles look a bit odd to me. The legs do look a bit to thin as if they couldn't support the body weight.
yes on the arm at the top its needs some verts pulling around so its not so lumpy an muscely just flowind better an should be too hard/ take long to fix
i agree on the legs however i like the toes u have praticaly nailed them
hi
thanks for the revious crits. i have worked on the parts and i hope i have fixed it all. Anyway i bought the texture kit and i am working on texturing the t rex. i like the way kurt makes the uv mapping stuff looks simple. just looking at the videos i have learned so much.
