transformation along axis?

How can i change the transformation tools so that when i move, scale or rotate it does so in accordance to the objects direction and not the orthagraphic x.y.z?

there is an option but i cant remember it at the moment (not got maya to have a look)

Have you had a search through the help files? As i'm sure that it will be in there.

It's ok I sorted it cheers, under transformation tools, select local pivot user added image
