This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

rigging question

i been watching a rigging tutorial ..

just wondering .. can someone tell me the path in maya 7 to
"parent" bones to the models?

seems like there"s a lot to rigging characters

If you just want to parent an object to a joint, select the object and then the joint and press P. If you want to bind the skin of a model to all of the joints, select the skin, then the pelvis joint and then do either a smooth or rigid bind.

As far as I know you don't parent bones to the model - the bones are just a visual guide.
