MAYA FRIKEN RULES!

after studying some of the program iknow have something tosave my money for Lol, but seeing what could be done and DOwnloading a 3D model thing on this site thats a space craft, i nearly soild my self on the reilisticness of the model, This program and the site rules. :bow: i now have a reason to get back in to the will to learn how to make games agein, MAYA RULES AND PWNS ALL OTHER 3D MODEL SITS! 3d studio max, eat your heart out. Just another way to fallo inthe legendary john carmacs footsteps

Yea... if you want to follow in John Carmack's footsteps... get DAMN good at Linear Algebra and Calculus... start learning HLSL... write a 3d engine.

You can even download some old sourcecode -- Quake 1-3 I believe -- written by Carmack to review the basics of 3d engine development.
