Boolean problems.

Whenever I try to use the "Difference" option from the Boolean menu, it removes both objects, instead of what it's supposed to do.

In other projects it works, but in the one I'm working on, it doesn't.

Driving me absolutely nuts...anyone have suggestions?

I think it has something to do with either combining the objects or checking the direction of the normals. I am sure this has come up plenty of times before - just do a search on SM and you will find some previous threads on this problem.

Well I found something about filling the polygons, but even after I do that, it won't do it properly.

..There are holes in the Polygons though.

if you are using booleans and you go to cut it out or attached it ..and both vanish then arran is write. ..either the two objects are not intercecting correctly and all the way threw or it is the normals are facing the wrong ways ...

Boolians are a pain, I tend to try and not use them if at all possible.
