Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

Thank you very much for the welcome I-Iybrid!
Yes, I am going to texture it all and then do the animation, that is why I bought this tutorial (texturing & animation), I don't know how to layout UV's etc.....so, hopefully I will be able to do the texturing.
Have you done this tut? Any tips you can share with me and all others reading this thread?
I am watching the first texturing video at the moment.

Laying the UV's

I have started laying out the UV's using the "Manual Method" as shown by Kari Brown, I am not going to use the Danny script nor "automatic mapping technique".

Unwrapping is almost done, a lot of work is involved in unwrapping.

Texturing Done!

Finally, the texturing is done on the Apache gunship.
A lot of work went into this model, I didn't like the UV unwrapping that much but the texturing was fun.
Next is the animation, I hope I don't take that long in doing it.
