THX1138 - N0RM - Jan/Feb

I believe I will do a robot for this one. Here is the first of a few concepts I'm considering. let me know what you think of this concept.

EDIT: This will be a one piece model as Mike made mention of.

Thanks for the comment younglion. user added image I did that sketch about 4 years ago. Never had the motivation to do it until this challenge came up. I'm going to post a few more characters and then decide on what I eally want to do.

Texturing is not a requirment for this challenge. So the final submission will not be textured; however, I will try to make time to texture a version for the finnished work section forum here at SM, and there probably will be an autobot symbol on that version, and the story behind that yellow mech is that he is supposed to be a precurser to the transformers. He is part of a TF story that I have been working on for quite a few years. He doesn't "transform" but; however, he does have some small things on him that extend and retract, giving you an illusion of transformation, but it's not.

I am still working on a couple of other character concepts aswell, but I just may stick with the yellow mech instead.

Got some legs on him now.

I also did a quick test render just to see how poseable I can get him in comparison to the refference pic. I think its commming along pretty good so far. I'm considering on going with a simpler pose for the final submission.
