looking for render options can't find them

hi all, hope you're all having a good start to the year.

ok hopefully this will be a simple question for people to answer, ive recently changed to maya 8 and only just needed to render out shadow and colour information seperately, in the old versions of maya it was under a heading Render Layer/Pass Control and the options were: "Renderable", "Beauty", "Colour" and "Shadow" as tick boxes.

could someone please advise me where this option has moved to or how to do this if the option has been removed.

many thanks.

In Maya 7, they took it out of the render globals but they didn't update the docs. It messed me up the first time as well. Now what you have to do is create a render layer, right click on the new render layer and select Attributes. Then in the attributes window scroll down to Render Pass Options.
