GI + texture help and advices. Please

Hi
Here's the first time ever I succeed lighting a scene with GI. (see bottom link)
I wanted to do some sunlight coming in the windows.
I tried to put some textures, but the floor image is supposed to be some lined wood (https://decibel.fi.muni.cz/models/cin...wood_floor.jpg)

BUt how come in the render is all blurred out ? same for the roof. I use JPEG images in 1024x1024. I tried TIFF but Maya says it doesnt recognize.

Im ready to add some furnitures and other little stuf.

help, comments, advices, recommandations will be greatly appreciated

thx in advance

looks good!

I have problems with blurry textures too sometimes. Changing the filtering type to "off" makes them a bit sharper for me. Also, play around with your antialiasing settings. I've noticed that makes a difference too.
