Young Woman WIP (NUDITY)

Hi there,
I have been modelling this Poly/SubD charcter for some time in another program (ears need redoing) and would like to brind this into Maya to texture, rig, animate and render.

I have seen some really nice looking renders using the Mi skin shader (or something similar). I have little or no experience in texuring and shaders and would really appreciate some help here.

And yes, I'll can the poly hair. Just sick of looking at a bald woman. Very hard to get a 'realistic' idea of finished geometry when you are looking at a bald gal.

Thanks in advance

Not bad.. few things to look at is the back area.. seems a bit short.. try bringing down her lower back a bit more...

Keep at it

Theres a funny looking crease around her armpit in the rear shot, and her ass looks a little 'plump' which I think shortens the legs a bit from the back. Also the nipples are facing outwards a bit too much I think?

A few tweaks here and there, otherwise a nice job user added image Keep going on it!

why have you modeled her in high heels? It's just that that seems to be giving you some real problems in her legs which seem to be leaning back unnaturally and her feet, which look stretched and too thin. Obviously high heels completely alter your posture and the angle of your chest and limbs - I think if you want to keep the character in heels you should work out how they affect the body. Also, I'm not sure about having the hands bent back so far - it looks a little awkward to me.

Hope I haven't been too harsh!user added image
