WHY?

Why is it whenever I download somin like a model it wont appear on maya I have maya 7 and it doesn't seem to want to pop up is there a secret?:headbang:

are you talking about opening a scene file by doubble clicking the .mb file to open it in maya?

can you still see the comman line or time slider or and UI elements at the bottom of the screen?

Sometimes this happens to me when I open something in Maya.

One remedy for this is to click on the "single perspective view" or "four view" viewing buttons to the left of the viewport, below the manipulators/tools.

If that doesn't work, I don't know what will.

if the .mb/.ma was downloaded in a zip u need to extract to ur hd rather that double clicking it


Now at SMU doing BSc 3D Computer Animation so its hard to get on here
