Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character

delete the loft, and 1 of the curves... duplicate the curve and put it where you want it.... try again with the loft

If it was me I would have used the bevel plus tool, then again I would not have done it in nurbs!

well, i only want a solid object using the curves i've drawn. i've tried using loft and bevel but that doesn't make the middle of my drawings solid, only the side.

i want it to be one solid object to work on without the big hole in the middle, so all sides must be solid. can anyone help me on that?

Programs are not stupid, only the user who refuse to look at tutorials and help files is the stupid one.

Imagine giving up already, shame on you. This is not MS Word where it takes you 5 mins to know what you are doing and away you go. PPl here work years on end learning maya and no one knows it all.

Listen to the advice given it works and never quit, you'll just do it for the rest of your life.

I don´t know whats wrong with you all.
Simplymaya IS ALREADY the best page for MAya users and you still cry for nothing.
I ever get FAST, PROFESSIONAL AND FRIENDLY answers!

It´s too SimplyMaya :

Select the first curve and open the Planar menu then set the output Geomitry to Polygons, Type to triangels, tesselation method to standard fit and set the 3D delta to a smaller value as the preset ( like 0.0170) and planar!

Select the second Curve and hit G for repeating the last action!

Then you should have two fiting planes in the shape of your Guitar!

Then open the outliner (Window- Outliner) and select the two curves and loft them! Do the same modification like the planar.
output Geomitry to Polygons, Type to triangels, tesselation method to standard fit and set the 3D delta to a smaller value as the preset ( like 0.0170) and planar!

Last but not least delete the two Curves if you want and it is done.
Easy or not???

Good luck and a good work!!!
