Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character

Ghost Rider Movie

Well, Just went to see it..
PErsonally i Loved it..
I know Jay, you hate cage..but he pulled it off well i do believe...
CG was Nice, Flames looked a bit CG ish..but Other then that i thought the rest of it was very well done..
The bike was even more bad ass then the pictures that were released made it out to be.
Some of the design work for the teeth in the Demons were a bit ...lacking but i got around that ok.. Their jaws looked like pin cushions but hey, The plot was good, and the story well put together in my opinion, Followed the comic book pretty well, Not any one story line but The general Premise of the comic its self.
I'd say its well worth watching, if you liked the old Comic for G.R. If you didnt like it, then you probably wont like the movie..
Rating it for a movie based off a comic, i'd have to ive it a 4.5 out of 5
By the By, Sam Elliot did a lot for the movie as well, didnt make the movie by anymeans, but he added alot to it.

Thats my two cents on it
G

Ghostrider

Well, I must admit, not all movies are for everyone. I grew up reading comic books, I had thousands of comics but the one I never had but always wanted was Ghostrider. I make sure I see every comicbook-turned-movie that comes out. This one had great action and was interesting as long as you bring your imagination.

I get mine here in the UK no problem, they have loads here in the local newspaper shops, personally I get the Batman Legends ones, though have been known to buy Wolverine and Spidey. Batman is the best though by far.

G...

Glad you enjoyed it, I thought you would, I can wait for the dvd though. Waiting for Spidey 3 and Pirates 3 before my next trip to the Cinema...but its whole year and a bit before Batman:The Dark Knight is out...damn!!

Best
Jay

Jay

Aaa yes the batman. I tend to get my copies at the library(only place I can find them) and I always go for the batmans. Nothing beats skimming through a couple issues(especially the dedecitve batman issues) before the bedtime lol.
and yes finally saw the flik last weekend. is it just me or was anyone else disappointed that the graveyard keeper wasnt't fighting back to back with ghost rider against that black heart guy? what was the point of him running with him at all? I was looking forward to some fighting with that half dead fired horse but oh well...
