This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with
complex objects.
I did that once before. Just duplicate the model and delete the old one. I have a feeling that something so simple has major drawbacks... but.. worked for me. =|
You don't have to duplicate the model. All you have to do is open the outliner and right click. Go to Show Shapes . Click the plus( + )next to your object name. Slect the ShapeHistPoly, then delete.
