unable to import trax clips

I've got an issue with the trax edior.

I've made a walk cycle and I want to import it into another scene to the same character. I've exported the data as as a clip

When I go to try to import the file, I get the error message:

"Error: The specified file contained no clips."

I tried to import the file actual walk file as a clip, but I've then got the following:
Error: Paste failed: See script editor for detailed information.

What am I doing wrong?
Anyone know how to get around this?

James

Go to www.the-area.com and download the plugin from autodesk for your version of maya.

ah ha!

I noticed I already had it, but not turned the plug in on.

No joy exporting the clip as fbx. I get the following error.

Error: Invalid file type for clip export: Fbx
