My first skeleton is so special

Yaya, I've just made my first actually (finally) finished human model!
I don't care how undetailed he is, hes beautiful to me.
I was wondering, however, the correct or best method of applying my skeleton to his *cough* perfect form.
Thanks in advance,
Chris

P.S. I would be happy to show a picture of this model, yet I seem to be unable to screen shot. Crap. The button on my keyboard isn't working.

sure. I've started mapping out the skeleton, just changing the verts each bone affects (deform > edit membership tool I hope )
I have another question though. How come after I've pressed the the above option, I can no longer select the skeleton? at all, unless I manually use the outliner. Although I don't think this will be a huge problem, its kinda nice not to have this happening.
I'll attach some photo shoots with my challenging new friend.

Joopson:
This is a little off topic user added image, but I looked at your Black Ring studios, and you guys look pretty good! I have some drawing s ive done that I'll scan in, and I'll email them to you. You can use 'em or lose 'em.
Thanks,
Chris

alright. I just need to find my scanner :S

Someone help me here please:
1. I've parented my model to my skeleton, and I was selecting the base bone, what ever you call it. Joint 1, basically.

2. I pressed the 'Edit Membership Tool' with my neck/head bone(controls head...), but there are no selected vertices to start with, and I can't seem to add any. What is going on here? Why can't I just add them?

EDIT**: When I futilely try and select more vertices, the bottom of my screen says Warning: No objects added.

Thanks in advance,
Chris
