This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.

Obviously, he's missing his hands and feet, but I'll finish those later. Any comments are welcome.

looks like a nice model so far - any chance we can see some close ups and maybe a screen grab or two from the maya workspace.

It looks really good, especially with the toon render, but I think the shadows are a bit too dark.

thanks guys. This particular job was done for a band to make some type of flyer. The reference was a drawing but not that great so I had to use anatomy images and then deform the model to match drawing.user added image

i'm actually just using a toon shader and rendering in maya software. the only problem with that is you have less freedom with texturing, like bump.
I should rig this guy, but I'm pretty bad at it.

Check out some tuts with Digital Tutors. They're the best with video tutorials for digital programming. Sweet model and I love the application of the toon render on the skeleton! It works well! Like was said earlier, you might try to lighten the shaddows a little or give it a little bit of a midtone. KUTGW!!

Take luck!
