for some reason i can't get mental ray to start up. I'm running on 8.5 and when I startup Maya There is no message in the output message box. does anyone know a way to start up mental ray after maya or is there a way to tell maya to do it? I do have maya 8 on my system and when i start that up it runs fine but not in 8.5. help..........please?


I found the plugin name in the plug in editor and checked the load and auto-load. just needed the name for it i guess. (mayatomr) I hope someone else will find this usefull.
