hi

need to know how to convert polygons to subdivisions then back to polygons again

here's a pic that show what tools kurt was using in one of his tuts however i cant seem to find them in maya7

if you're going to keep converting back and fourth from poly to sub D, you might want to make a button for it.

To convert back to polygons the way you had it before, you need to click on the vertice option so the resolution would stay the same. You might want to switch your polgyon to subdivision all the way up if you ever plan on converting from a hi rez model.
