Camera Tools/Shelves missing after force quit

Hi all, I'm wondering if someone could help me with this problem. After I had force quit Maya, I restarted, had to rebuild everything. Now I'm missing the camera tools, I played around a bit but don't know how to restore them.
I've been googling this with not much luck,
thanks in advance to anyone who can help!

I'm on a powerpc mac osx.

the same thing Happened to me a really long time ago when I had to force quit maya. I was able to restore the shelf/camera tools somehow, but I forget how I did that.

Well, I still don’t know what you mean by the camera controls. You might want to reinstall Maya if those shelves are like that.

What version of OSX are you running?

you've never worked with cameras in maya before? you can pan, rotate, etc. those tools are usually in that area that is blank on the screeenshot. anyway, I can't reinstall.

running osx 10.4.9

Pan and rotate in the perspective view? Is that what you mean?

BTW, why can’t you reinstall it? user added image

Just reset your Maya settings by deleting the settings folder. Maya's help files should have detailed instructions on how to do that for OS X.
