Can I attach a cylinder to hair?

Hey, I have a strange question:
Is it possible to make a cylinder (nurbs or poly) follow a follicle of hair so that it bends?

What I want to do is make one of those cheap wire antennas that remote control cars have, the ones that bend when the car moves but sticks up when its stationary. I made some hair and delete all the extras so I only have 1 follicle, and it moves exactly how i want it to, but it needs to be an actual cylinder, can this be done? or is there another more appropriate way to do this?

Thanks, Joel

Think so.

Cant remembe the workflow off the top of my head, but try extruding the tube down the hair curve, that way the history will be kept and the tube will move with the curve.
