Edit: I seem to be having a problem with Maya now. it looks like this:

anyways i seem 2 know wat ur problem is with ur maya, its nothing really just go to

Display --> UI Elements --> Show All UI Elements...

Nice job Preed! Hands are pretty hard to do and for being a newbie, you did very well. You're catching on pretty quickly.
