Gravis Gamepad

I seem to have some sort of fetish of modeling game controllers....so here's another one. My Gravis Gamepad that I used like 10 years ago for the PC. Model is done. Next UV-mapping.

Finished the UV-mapping. Not totally perfect, but it will do the trick. Next: sleep.

As usual,

very nice work.

I keep on meaning to have a play with Maxwell but I get so caught up in my animation stuff and I've been led to believe that it's more suited to stills due to it's lengthy render times.

Take it easy,

Mat.

Thanks guys user added image

Joopson: it's just a light grey lambert, AFAIK Maxwell converts a lambert to a standard diffuse, so yes.

Here's the first decent render. Still some small things to sort out.

Here's a new one. Obiously the bumpmap looks like crap. Think I'm gonna redo the UV-mapping.

Why do you need to re-do the UV's? Looks fine to me.

looking very nice DJbLAZER, you definitely know how to render things realistically user added image

seems a little fuzzy to me though like it could do with a slight sharpening up or a play with the DOF
