Well I recently got satellite broadband but unfortunately even when I try to download basic free newbie tutorials like the simple human form one but get the "too many downloads in progress" thing over and over again :headbang: could someone name a time where there is minimal downloads so I could try to learn maya ?
Thanks,
Joshua M
From a readers' Q and A column in TV GUIDE: "If we get involved in a nuclear war, would the electromagnetic pulses from exploding bombs damage my videotapes?"
There are lots of other free tutorials on the net but if you really want a tutorial from this site and this site alone i would suggest buying points that way you support the people who are making those tutorials.
I think when you download a free tutorial it downloads from the same host as from where this site is hosted so if there are alot of people online bandwidth get's pretty low.
And when you download a payed for tutorial you download from a seperate server which is faster.
But that's just my guess:p
It is annoying for another site I visited because it is a online play only thing,I have a limited bandwidth satellite Internet so I need to download i once so I don't go over my limit. If I do want to continue to pursue Maya then I will buy points for the more advanced videos.
