Hello,

Although there are lipsync programs out there you still need to set up the blend shapes and rig the character yourself.

The blendshapes are the most time consuming and difficult part (in my opinion) of rigging a character for dialogue so it begs the question....

Why bother using the software if you still have to do the hardest part yourself?

Chances are that you will still need to tweak any animation made with automatic lipsync software which makes me ask myself....

Why bother using it if you still need to adjust it in the end anyway?

Also it's likely that any animation made with automated software will look as though it has been made using such software.

At the end of the day you are probably going to spend as much time (if not more) setting up, learning and eventually tweaking your animation after using a lipsync program as you would if you did it all yourself in the first place. You will also have no where near the understanding of the process if you rely on such software.

That's my two cents anyway,
