Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

importing a 3dmax textured model

I'm wondering if you guys know a way to import a 3dmax textured model to an application like maya and see the model all nice and textured. the Wavefront Object format is really good but then I have to retexture everything i.e. re-create the material node, browse for the texture...etc (very time consuming). maybe a way to bake the textures on the 3dmax model or a special format/plugin i should know about?

thanks for the help,
Dan
