Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 2
This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

1st model for a long time.

hello, gonna make a bathroom scene, infront of a mirror, me thinks.
started with a razor, will be going for high detail models.
heres 1st pic started with a cube, and im just roughing out the basic shape and contours,

What made you start with the props, and not the actual scene itself???

user added image as i havnt used maya for so long thought this was best way to familiarise myself, like arran has done in his scene ill model a few items then start on the scene,
the bathroom will only really be visable through the mirror, with DOF.

just about done the razor, need to add he rubber parts and a bit more detail to the back.
loking more like a razor now though.
Still on the cheap renders.
