Poly to Subd texture problem

Hey,

Im doing a clown tent and i've just converted it to all subds. The problem is that the texture gets warped and changes from the subd preview?

First pict is the subd preview, second is the converted one.

Any suggestions or is a case of re-jigging the UV map.

Any CC would be good too, its base on a tutorial so i cant take credit for the idea

cheers
Al

The only difference I see is a little color change. Do you mean something else?

Oh, and since you're using 2008, you don't need to use Sub Ds anymore.

Edit: Ah, now I see it. No, I've never seen anything like that.

have you told the conversion to keep UV's at polygon. When you convert to Sub-D it will change the uv's to use the new Sub-d ones. in the conversion node there is an optin to Keep UV's Poly
