I would post some of the things I did when I first started fooling around with maya but I lost it all when my hdd crashed a few months back user added image all I have left are what I've done since I joined here... thank god for flash drives.

It's true, the very first thing I did was better looking than your crocahippodeer manbearpig :p haha
Now I wish I could find my ring of fire with lightning and other random poly's or nurbs stretched out, it was honestly horrible... oh and my donut guy with arms, with nothing attached, haha

haha it was basically vertexes pulled and manipulated all over the place and then me just randomly pressing the effects and putting in random numbers, I ended up with fire and lightning when I rendered it, and a bunch of untextured objects in the midst of it all. I wish I still had it, I was so proud of it
