Beer glass scene creation
This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.

movie files as textures

So, I'm using a robot model for a project.
What I'd like to do, is have an advertisement go across the character, which I was going to use a video file for.
However, I can't quite grasp how to apply a movie file as the texture for the character.
Any Help?

well if you have an image sequence you can attach that the same way you attach a regular image file, just click 'image sequence' wherever that is...

as Neostrider said it can be done that way, although generally would recommend doing that sort of thing in post, using a tracker in which ever compositing package to your familar with would be a better idea as you can apply effects and filters to it then.
