command D isn't working for duplicate? Check your hotkeys something may be up there. Otherwise I'm out of suggestions. The new macbook pro keyboards simply suck. Why do they lack all the nice features of a keypa and the home set of keys. There is so much space for them yet they are not included.... WEAK

Ok do you guys have the new slimline alluminium keyboards. Or the older White ones? There is a key that has an arrow pointing up and diagonally left that looks like it works well at least I think so anyway. Thanks guys

I have one of the brand new ones. What are you trying to do, move the pivot point?

Embarrasingly yes just wanted to centre the pivot on the origin to do a mirror of an object (eye)

Duplicate special seems to have done it......

home/insert key for toggling pivot control

Hi, I ran into this issue myself. I'm on a regular MacBook. I was able to toggle the pivot control that usually needs insert/home by using the fn key plus left arrow key (says home on it)

fn home (left arrow <-- )

Cheers
