This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

Extrude test

hey yall,
i was trying a cool thing, which is taking a primitive, selecting the object and hitting extrude (turn OFF keep faces together) then repeating the step over and over again with the subsequent shape... its fun
Here are some done with some primitives:

Thats pretty cool,
You could have fun making different shaders for those and seeing what effects you could get.

the cube and the plane are the two I liked the best, looks cool though, I like the idea. Sometimes simplicity is the key.
