Grenade1

This is my first successful attempt at creating a grenade. I tried many methods to get the form, but in the end, I used a curve and then revolved it to get the shape I wanted. I don't know how to go about making the keychain part of the pin, so I just put a tag on it instead user added image

Nice... How long have you been using Maya?
For a key-chain you can either use Helix under 'create new', or extrude along a curve....

When in doubt, delete history and freeze transformations.

I've only been using it about a week or so,. I've spent most of my time reading tutorials and looking at other peoples projects.

My first model can be found here:

Thanks for the keychain tip, now I can think of where extruding along a curve would be very helpful user added image
