New guy on the grid

Hello all, new to Maya and I have to say after only one days I am very excited about this software. I'm a 3d Max user, and always told myself I would never use anything else. Then I downloaded the PLE for Maya, and I am hooked!!

I signed up here because I saw a lot of great tutorials that I would love to try, and the points systems is a very interesting, and inexpensive way for me to learn. Unfortunately I think I am too late for David's points giveaway, but no worries, I will hopefully catch the next one.

I'm a very inquisitive learner, so I pray my questions don't annoy anyone. Catch you all on the grid!!

user added image yeah, Max has it's good points, as all 3d software do. But from what I have seen from Maya after only two days of learning, I wish I would have found it first.

I don't think I will say anything like that user added image, although if I never try another software I will be totally content with Maya and Max. Although I hear Lightwave is incredible also.

And the modifier stack is also a wonder to behold. All has it's uses, and I still enjoy using Max, but Maya is so much easier to use, I just need to get use to the differences in the two.
