mitsubishi eclipse

hi, this is my first car with maya, i followed the tutorial by"digital tutors" n felt it turn out to be ok. let me know if u guys have any suggestions n whatnot

The model looks good but something is off about the reflections, could it be its too high, I not sure. And there is some weirdness on the spoiler.

yea i believe the reflection is a bit too high too, n that weird thing is the reflection too, looks differnt at a different angel

Hmmm, I just noticed also that theres a seam running down the length of the car.

Looks good. I saw this Digital Tutors tutorial awhile back. Your render looks good, Like said the reflections are a bit too high, but then again so were the renders that the guy's at DT did.

Nice model!

I'm guessing that the wierdmess of the refleection is trees at a wierd angle and that the seem down the middle is because that is where the edge of the texture on your Image Based Lighting is. If not it could be the actual geometry, in which case smooth the normals where the seem runs down the car.
