not a valid icon

i just noticed as i shifted maya to my new pc that the scripts for some of the shelf buttons were missing

which i guess is what i expect since the folder structure has changed and it looks like Maya doesn't make a local copy of the icon.

so when i go to change the icon it changes fine for one bmp, but the other bmp it doesn't want to use it :angery:

"invalid icon", yet it was working fine on my laptop

might it be a 64bit issue?

both icons are 32x32 and are the same disk size, 3.05kb

weird....

that's a "Ch" pronounced as a "K"

Computer skills I should have:
Objective C, C#, Java, MEL. Python, C++, XML, JavaScript, XSLT, HTML, SQL, CSS, FXScript, Clips, SOAR, ActionScript, OpenGL, DirectX
