Complex UV Layout in Maya
Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character

Prevent double posting

Here's one: make a restriction that'll prevent a user from posting twice in half a minute or so... that should do it user added image

When in doubt, delete history and freeze transformations.

i think it's got something to do with the server running slow cause then it wouldnt be able to keep up with itself, or if you click the button like 50 times per second... idk im just guessing

A better idea!

Every post in the same thread by a user will have SHA-512 fingerprint made of it. If a user posts the same thing twice, the SHA-512 fingerprints will be identical and the server will remind the user that they are double posting.

Don't ask me to program such a feature though... :p

Yeah, we need to be able to delete our own posts (but if possible only double posts), otherwise it could be abused
