Part of a Sig Sauer P220 45.

I just started using maya so i was wondering what you think so far? I used a uv texture map and bumbed it. I'm going to try and shape the gun my self some other time. I just fiqured i would mess around texture mapping for a little bit. When i get done i'll try animating it.

I love the design of the Sig Sauer guns! And this looks fantastic!

Please tell us about your modeling technique.

Heres an update.

How I did it? I just used polygon cube, shaped it, then extruded it, then used Spilt Polygon tool, and alot of tweaking.

I'd say it's a combination of right material settings and good lighting. Just experiment with the help of IPR.

Nice model btw user added image

Well its been awhile for an update. Haven't done much since last time. Just added a little detail on the side and rounded the back. I just downloaded GI_Joe. So I rendered it out to see what it would look like. You'll probly see a bigger update by tomorrow. Well, I hope so at least.
