I need to make a Fluids flame thrower and have no idea how

I'm not very good with fluids been trying to wrap my head around for some time now but can't seem to get them to work properly. I need to make a good looking flame thrower for a class project, anyone like to instruct me on how to achieve this effect? I would really appreciate it.

Check out the fluid examples of fire in the Visor.

There are some good examples of fire in there, you can check the settings that are used and then work on direction of flame etc using fields and such.
