Bed Cloth Tutorial

Hello,

I try to learn the bed tutorial....and after i follow exactly the same steps as the tut....my square or blanket falls and slides down to the side ??

hmm... i've done this tut too, but it worked fine...
perhaps u have a too big square? or the square not on the right pos? and because of this maya don't calc it like u wish...

Hmm...not sure...i even put the square close to the bed, and that work fine for the simulation play but sometimes i press 'ESC' to stop the simulation , the square doesn't return to the original state...and if i delete cache still the same...so i have to keep pressing undo until the square is flat again... and other times...some of the square surfaces goes through the bed actually only 2 small sections of the side of the square that goes through the bed....

the cp sticher base res... put it up a bit more until you see no splits.

Kev, i also increase the base resolution to 500 -1000 and still have the same problem.....i'll post a picture later as soon as i can...
